Hats o昀昀 to
these ladies!
A group of keen knitters at Gilbert Court has been knitting hats for
babies to take to local hospitals. Evie, Wendy, Angela, Pat and Susanann have already created and donated 24 hats. There’s no stopping
them either, when we caught up with them, they’d already started
their second batch and had set their sights on whipping up 30 more of
their multi-coloured creations.
The ladies meet every Monday afternoon, and each hat takes them
just a few hours to make. They 昀椀nd knitting really relaxing, and a good
way to socialise together and use their skills to bene昀椀t a good cause.
