Independent Living
Our Independent Living team is here to help customers live
confidently and independently. They regularly check in to offer
wellbeing support, help with things like completing forms, and make
sure they can access the right services beyond bdht.
They encourage social connections through activities like exercise
classes and meaningful activites. It’s all about offering the right
support at the right time, helping people stay connected, informed,
and independent.
< I would like to pay a huge compliment
to our independent living officer,
Jamie. Jamie has supported myself
and my husband from day one, he
goes above and beyond, he is always
phoning us checking we are ok. He
helps us out by getting repairs done as
promptly as possible, he is a star and
we want him to know how much we
appreciate his help and support.=

today. They found the customer
on the floor and called an
ambulance, he believes without
their help he wouldn't be here
today.=
