Governance & Financial Viability
bdht is independently assessed by its regulator, the
Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).
In July 2025, bdht’s governance rating was upgraded
to the highest level (G1) by the Regulator, showing
that we’re well run and making good decisions. We
also expect to receive a strong rating for how we treat
customers under the new Consumer Standards, which
focus on things like safety, respect, and
communication.
Our current financial rating is V2, which means we’re
financially stable and managing our resources
responsibly. These ratings help show that bdht is
doing the right things to support our customers and
communities, now and in the future.
The Regulator of Social Housing sets Value
for Money measures so housing providers
can track how well they’re doing and compare
with others. The latest figures show that bdht
is performing as well as or better than the
sector average in most areas.
We’re proud of this progress and always
